Thikho Events Management (Pty) Ltd, a proudly black-owned South African company established in 2011 by Mr. Richard M Ramudzuli, is dedicated to providing professional, personalized, and high-quality event planning services for both public and corporate clients.
Our core values focus on elevating the standards of event planning and marketing, serving as a solution for brand and product activations and promotions. Additionally, we offer a diverse range of corporate services, including year-end functions, corporate gateways, team development, workshops, exhibitions, video productions, and photography.
Over the past seven years, Thikho Events has garnered a reputation for developing and delivering exceptional local concerts in the music and comedy scenes. We have also provided various event and marketing services to esteemed clients such as British American Tobacco, Anaprop, Black Business Council, Black Management Forum, Sun International, and the City of Ekurhuleni, among others.

Some of our well-known public events include Business Premium Weekend (featuring Jazz, Comedy, and Gospel), Pride Weekend (highlighting Afrosoul, Comedy, and Gospel), Heavyweights (showcasing Dance and Hip Hop), Afro Goes East (celebrating Afrosoul), Reconciliation Festival, and The Blackout. Annually, our events attract over 30,000 people, with a substantial audience base of 60% in Ekurhuleni, 30% from other areas in Gauteng, and 10% from outside Gauteng, including neighboring countries such as Botswana, Swaziland, Lesotho, and Mozambique.
Thikho Events boasts an impressive social media presence, with over 200,000 followers on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, resulting in a total reach of 10 000,000 every month and an active database of over 120,000.
Having collaborated with over 90% of local artists (musicians and comedians), Thikho Events has established solid relationships with major record labels in South Africa.
